ALTOONA — Two more victims have been identified in a fatal crash in Blount County early Saturday morning.
According to Alabama State Troopers, the driver of a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer has been identified as Rhonda Smith Guice, 47, of Altoona. The passenger in the Chevrolet Blazer was Carmen Alondra Catete, 22, of Rainbow City. Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the triple fatal crash that happened just after midnight on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019.
Investigators believe a 2006 Ford 500 crossed the centerline, on Highway 132, and hit a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer, head-on.
Michael Anthony Bryant, 46, of Oneonta was previously identified as the driver of the Ford 500. Bryant, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened 2 miles south of Altoona.
