CENTER POINT — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after someone shot at a deputy on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019.
Sgt. James Perry said deputies were investigating a theft near Valley Brook Apartments, in Birmingham, when shots were fired.
“While they had three people detained, from two different cars, someone began to fire at them,” said Perry.
No one was hurt in the shooting.
Perry said detectives are working to retrieve video of the suspect. The only description available at this time is that the suspect was wearing all white.
Valley Brook Apartments are near Center Point, off Gallant Drive.
