HUNTSVILLE — The Springville volleyball team fell in the opening round of the Class 5A North Super Regional in Huntsville on Thursday to Guntersville in four sets (25-10, 24-26, 25-22, 25-20).
Guntersville advances to face Southside-Gadsden in the quarterfinals.
The Tigers booked their ticket into the Super Regionals on Monday after defeating Center Point and St. Clair County (25-15, 25-11, 25-13) in the Class 5A, Area 10 tournament that was hosted by Springville.
Springville had faced Guntersville on September 30 in what was a 0-2 loss for the Tigers.
