TRUSSVILLE — Tis the season for Christmas trees and the celebration of baby Jesus. In Trussville, it is also the season for a parade and a cookie walk.
Trussville Downtown Merchants are hosting a cookie walk this Christmas season. Businesses in Trussville are asked to prepare 50, individually wrapped Christmas treats. On Saturday, Dec. 14, anyone with a ticket for the cookie walk, can go from store to store to get their cookies.
The cookie walk will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m, followed by the Christmas parade.
The deadline for businesses to sign up for the cookie walk is Thursday, Oct. 31. Limited spots remain. You can contact Debi McCarley with DeDe’s Book Rack by emailing dedesbookrack@gmail.com.
Businesses are encouraged to include coupons or goodie bags with their cookies.
Tickets will be sold to the public for $15.
