CENTER POINT — The Center Point Fire District turned pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Lights at all fire stations were changed to pink and the fire district displayed its pink fire truck.
Each year, the fire district raises awareness of breast cancer awareness by hosting several events and selling t-shirts. In early October, Fire Chief Gene Coleman presented the Breast Cancer Research Foundation a $10,339 check.
