TRUSSVILLE – The 8U Trussville Blue Storm softball team reached the pinnacle of recreational softball on October 12 as the girls claimed the recreation tournament championship at the Trussville Softball Complex after blitzing through the field in dominant fashion.
The Blue Storm went undefeated on the day. They won five consecutive games before defeating Vestavia Hills in the championship game.
The championship team players are: Bradleigh Cain, Alonna Weaver, Blair Lybrand, Ava Standridge, Addison Kearby, Kinsley Halpin, AllyGrace Free, Miller Beth McIntosh, Amani Abdullah, Elsie Kaye Johnson and Sophia Brisco.
The coaches are: Bradley Halpin, Shawn Bowles, Andrew Johnson and Emily Strandridge.
