LINCOLN — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is conducting a traffic fatality investigation just 3 miles southwest of Lincoln.
ALEA officers were called to the scene at 6:08 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019. They discovered a single-vehicle crash on Stemley Bridge Road.
A 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by Tracy Lamar Crumb, 53, of Talladega, had left the roadway and struck a large rock. The vehicle continued westbound, went off the roadway again and traveled down an embankment, where it overturned.
Crumb was pronounced dead at the scene by the Talladega County Coroner.
