MONTGOMERY — The state required School Report Cards were released by the Alabama State Department of Education on Friday and the news was good for Trussville City Schools. Out of 137 school districts in the state of Alabama, TCS was one of only eight systems to score an A for all schools in the system.
Joining Trussville in the elite group of straight A schools were Arab City Schools, Auburn City Schools, Cullman City Schools, Homewood City Schools, Madison City Schools, Mountain Brook City Schools and Vestavia Hills City Schools .
Additionally, the Trusville City School district earned a score of 95, fourth highest in Alabama. In all, 26 school districts in the state scored an A on their system report card.
Cahaba Elementary School again led the way with a score of 99 for the third straight year.
