TRUSSVILLE – With college and high school football swirling all about us, its easy to lose sight of achievements recorded by those not typically in the spotlight. One such achievement is the Hewitt-Trussville eighth grade football team’s 14-12 victory over Thompson on Thursday night that clinched the metro championship for the Huskies.
The Huskies concluded the regular season undefeated at 8-0.
