Elizabeth M. Collins, 94, of Trussville, originally from Leeds, passed away on Oct. 15, 2019.
She was a member of Trussville First United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Bessie Muir; her husband, Milford M. Collins, Sr.; and her son, Milford Mckinley Collins, Jr. She is survived by her children, John Samuel Collins (Deborah Irene Collins), Sue Collins Hopson (Mike Hopson), Teresa Collins Aldrich (Ronald Eugene Aldrich); her grandchildren, Kellie Irene Slaughter, Wendy Noel Gottfried, Autumn Rebecca Aldrich, Jonathan Stephen Aldrich, Ronald Alexander Aldrich, Rebecca Ann Hopson; her great-grandchildren, Myleigh Slaughter, Melaina Slaughter, Ryder Slaughter, Ruby Zellner, Rose Zellner, Mollie Zellner, Madison Gottfried, and Harper Gottfried.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
