SPRINGVILLE — A power outage on Monday has closed Springville Elementary School, Springville Middle School and Springville High School.
The school system announced the outages on Monday morning after learning from Alabama Power it would take hours to fix the problem.
Mayor William Isley said a transformer blew between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Monday morning, causing the outage.
