CENTER POINT — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified a man killed in a shooting in Center Point on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019.
Benjamin Gonzalez, 21, lived in the 1800 block of Martinique Drive, where he was shot to death, according to Coroner Bill Yates.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said someone called 911 at 6:57 p.m., after hearing gunfire in the neighborhood.
Capt. David Agee said when deputies arrived, they found the victim dead on the scene.
