From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TALLADEGA — The late Dale Earnhardt Sr. was honored Sunday at Talladega as the iconic No. 3 car was taken out of the Richard Childress Racing Museum and driven by racing legend Richard Childress to open the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway as a ceremonial pace car.
The car is still equipped with the same engine Earnhardt used to secure his final victory in 2000 before his tragic passing in 2001.
Dale Sr.'s car returns to Talladega
Straight chills.
