PINSON — Pinson Valley recorded its fifth victory in six games after the Indians cruised to a 42-12 victory over visiting Huffman on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019.
The Indians moved to 5-2, 4-1, in Class 6A, Region 6 play. Huffman fell to 2-6, 1-4, overall. Pinson Valley now sits alone in second place in the region behind Oxford.
Pinson Valley quarterback Barry White finished the night with two passing touchdowns. Caleb Nix joined in on the fun and recorded a passing touchdown of his own.
Ga’Quincy McKinstry and Tez Johnson hauled in touchdown receptions, and Kenji Christian finished the night with 125 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Pinson Valley next travels to face Pell City next Friday. The Panthers fell to Clay-Chalkville, 0-49, this Friday.
