BIRMINGHAM — An Anniston boy has died after he fell out of a wagon at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the boy as 4-year-old Noa Vera.
Vera was attending a dental clinic at the hospital on Oct. 2 when he fell out of one of the red wagons provided by the hospital. He sustained a head injury as a result of the fall.
He was taken to the emergency room and then admitted. He was pronounced dead at 1:10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10.
