TRUSSVILLE — A Birmingham area leasing agent announced via social media on Thursday that Marble Slab Creamery and Great American Cookies are opening a joint location in a new development on Highway 11 in Trussville, according to Southpace Properties, LLC.
The dessert shop will go into the strip development where Metro Dinner and Chicken Salad Chick are already established. Also coming to the strip development are Taco Mama and Orangetheory Fitness.
Great American Cookies currently has a location in the Pinnacle shopping center. Plans for that location are not known at this time.
Trussville will be the first Birmingham metro location for Marble Slab Creamery, which currently has three Alabama locations in Huntsville, Auburn and Troy.
