GARDENDALE — The Gardendale Fire Department responded to a house fire on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019.
There was heavy smoke and flames showing as crews arrived on the scene. Fultondale Fire also responded to the scene in the 5000 block of Pine Needle Drive. The extra help was needed because of the 95° temperatures, according to the fire department.
The Gardendale Fire Department Tweeted Nicole Harris’ video of the incident.
Just before 1 p.m., Gardendale Fire was dispatched to the 5000 block of Pine Needle Drive on a structure fire. Crews arrived to find heavy fire showing from the structure.
