ROBINWOOD — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim in a homicide that happened in east Jefferson County on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019.
Joe Loston Sanders, 47, was killed in the Robinwood community where he lived, according to Coroner Bill Yates.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said Kenneth Jerome Wilkerson Jr., 18, of Center Point, was arrested and is facing a murder charge in connection to the death.
Investigators believe the homicide stemmed from a dispute over drugs.

Wilkerson is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a $60,000 bond. He is considered innocent until proven guilty.
