Thomas McGinnis, 68, passed away on Sept. 27, 2019.
He was a police officer for 35 years for the city of Lipscomb, Irondale and Trussville. He is preceded in death by his father, William T. McGinnis; brother-in-law, Doug Mewbourne. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lang (Luke); mother, Marie McGinnis; sister, Deb Mewbourne; brother, William T. McGinnis Jr. (Teresa).
A visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Jefferson Memorial from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 2 p.m.
