HUNTSVILLE — The Hewitt-Trussville boys and girls’ cross country teams hit the road on Tuesday as the Huskies traveled to Huntsville to participate in the Randolph Cross Country Classic.
The girls finished in second place out of nine teams participating. Out of 123 total girls running, the Huskies had five runners place within the top 15: Amelia Brady finished No. 4 with a time of 20:13.27; Maci Mills finished No. 8; Kylee Sisk finished No. 9; Olivia Browning finished No. 10 and Sophia Knox finished No. 11.

The boys finished in third place overall as a team. Nathan Knox led the way as he took the top spot out of 175 runners with a time of 16:44.35. Mac Brooks finished No. 12; Mitchell Phillips finished No. 13; Sam Lovin placed No. 16 and Wil Edwards finished No. 18.
