Both Hewitt-Trussville and Clay-Chalkville slipped in the updated ASWA high school football rankings. The Huskies and the Cougars entered week four before falling in their respective games. Pinson Valley remains No. 2 in Class 6A, but notched two more first place votes than this time last week. The Indians sit behind Saraland.
Center Point continues its rise in Class 5A after receiving hardly any votes early in the season to move up into the top 10 this past week. The Eagles now sit at No. 9. Springville remains out the top 10 after falling this week.
