ASHVILLE — A St. Clair County man is facing charges after agencies in St. Clair County worked together on a drug investigation.
Joel Hogeland, 31, of Ashville, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana first degree.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division intercepted a package sent from California to an address in Ashville. The package contained 103 THC vape cartridges. According to the sheriff’s office, the packaging on the cartridges advertised the product to contain 92% distillate THC.
The Ashville Police Department executed a search warrant on the home at 185 Littafachee Drive in Ashville. Hogeland was arrested and Narcotics officers seized 64 additional THC vape cartridges and 39 vape devices during the search.
Hogeland was booked into the St. Clair County Jail in Ashville. He posted a $20,000 bond and was released.
