FAIRFIELD — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that happened at 7:57 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.
Deputies were dispatched to 6625 Aaron Aronov Drive after receiving a call about a shot that had been fired.
Investigators concluded that two men riding in a car together got into an argument. The driver pulled off the roadway, exited the car and fired a shot at a man sitting in the back seat, according to the sheriff’s office.
The man was hurt by breaking glass but was not hit by gunfire. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor wounds.
Investigators are reviewing witness statements and available video.
