TALLADEGA COUNTY — A Munford man was arrested and charged in a 2004 murder in Talladega County, according to Attorney General Steve Marshall.
Quentin Jabar Estelle, 34, was taken into custody by the Talladega County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019.
The victim, John William Hoover Jr., died of multiple gunshot wounds. Hoover’s body was found on June 22, 2004.
Estelle was released from jail on a $50,000 bond.
If convicted, Estelle faces a maximum penalty of life or not more than 99 years imprisonment and a fine of up to $60,000 for murder.
