LEEDS — Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama is asking for help finding a man facing a felony charge of intimidating a witness.
Joseph Edward Hill, 76, was charged with sexual abuse first degree and assault second degree. He was released from jail on Aug. 16 after posting a $20,000 bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on those charges for Sept. 24. Now, he is facing the new charge of intimidating a witness.

According to court documents, in 2010, Hill was charged with aggravated stalking. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 months in the Community Corrections Program. At that time, he lived in Trussville. Four months after his sentencing, Hill was placed on unsupervised probation after requesting to do so in order to work as a truck driver.
On the 2019 charges, Hill is considered innocent until proven guilty.
His last known address was in the 3000 block of Bellmont Drive in Moody.
