Not only will Class 7A Region 3 bragging rights be on the line this Friday when Hewitt-Trussville travels to face Hoover, but the stage has been set on the national level with USA Today marking the matchup as one of the top high school football games in the nation this week.
Hewitt-Trussville enters the game 3-0 and sitting in fifth place in Class 7A. Hoover, the 2016 state champions, enters 2-1 after falling to Thompson this past week to begin region play. The Bucs fell from first to fourth place in Class 7A. Thompson now sits in first place.
