Robert Haden “Bob” Sweatman, 86, of Odenville, passed away on Sept. 8, 2019.
He was a member of The Chapel at Argo, and a former member of Pinson First Baptist and Center Point First Baptist. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Mae Price Sweatman; his parents, John and Alma Sweatman; his brothers, George Sweatman, Hobart Sweatman, and Huelet Sweatman; and his sister, Jean Sweatman. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sweatman; his daughter, Cara McAnnally (Jamie); sister, Mary Anne McCay; grandson, Alexander McAnnally; step-children, Charles Tucker, Jr. (Laura) and Lynn Morgan (Durrell); step-grandchild, Hailey Morgan; step-great-grandchild, Piper Leigh Files; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 6-8 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial, with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
