COLLINSVILLE — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a fatal crash that happened three miles south of Collinsville.
State Troopers said the crash happened at 2:35 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6.
Christian Kole Richards, 28, of Dawson, was changing a flat fire on the side of the road, at the 202-mile marker of Interstate 59, in Dekalb County. A 2019 GMC box truck struck and killed Richards.
Richards was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
Troopers are investigating.
