GARDENDALE — A store clerk was hurt in an armed robbery in Gardendale on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019.
According to Gardendale Police, an armed man came into the Citgo on Decatur Highway around 10:45 p.m. He was wearing a dark hoodie and a bandana over his face. The clerk said the robber demanded money and fled on foot.

The clerk was injured during the robbery and was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
