BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified a man that was hit and killed by a car on Monday, Sept. 2, 2019.
Eduardo Diaz Vasquez, 46, of Birmingham, was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:57 a.m.
Coroner Bill Yates said Vasquez was walking across the roadway in the 1100 block of Third Avenue West when he was hit. The driver of the vehicle left the scene without stopping, according to investigators.
Birmingham Police are investigating.
