Hewitt-Trussville (7A), Pinson Valley (6A) and Clay-Chalkville (6A) are all sitting within the top five in their respective classes in this week’s Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football rankings. Both Center Point (17) and Springville (4) received votes in Class 5A.
