ETOWAH COUNTY — According to the Alabama State Trooper’s Office, a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, Sept. 3, claimed the life of a Etowah County man.
Trooper Curtis Summerville said Danny Ray Vasser, 63, of Atalla was killed when the 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle that he was operating collided with a 2014 Volvo tractor trailer.
Vasser was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Volvo was not injured.
The crash occurred on Alabama 211, one mile north of Gadsden.
No further information is available as ALEA Troopers continue to investigate.
