OXFORD — The Oxford Fire Department is sending condolences to the family of a child killed in a crash on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019.
The department posted on its Facebook page that bystanders performed CPR to try and save the child’s life.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 11 in Oxford. The child was 10-year-old Ramiah Leonard, according to family friends. The child is the daughter of the senior pastor at The Life Center Church in Anniston, Eugene Leonard Jr.
