BESSEMER — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said a body found inside a Bessemer home was that of David Clifton Harper.
The 77-year-old man was found, on Aug. 27, by a friend who said they had not heard from him in a while. Bessemer Police were called to investigate at the home in the 1500 block of Dartmouth Avenue.
Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates said an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause and manner of death.
