CLAY — Alabama Power crews have removed a fallen tree from Old Springville Road.
The tree fell between Clay Palmerdale Road and Trussville Clay Road, bringing power lines down with it. Jefferson County Roads and Transportation assisted Alabama Power crews to safely remove the tree.

Lanes are now open.
Another round of scattered showers and storms are expected in central Alabama Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.
