BLOUNT COUNTY — A two-vehicle crash at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, has claimed the life of a Dora man, according to the Alabama State Troopers.
Randall Tyler Anderson, 28, was killed when the 2004 Volkswagen Jetta he was driving crossed the center line and struck a 2006 Ford F250, Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel said.
Anderson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford was injured and transported to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 79 four miles south of Locust Fork.
No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
