Tempie Evelynn Elmore, at 87 years young, danced and sang her way into Heaven on Aug. 17, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Elmore; parents, Ina Murray and James Murphree; her brother, Ervin Murphree; her sister, Shelia Murray. She is survived by her sister, Hazel Garmon; and her 3 boys and their wives, Mike and DeeDee, David and Lee, Lynn and Judy; and Lisa, a very special friend; and many other family members and friends.
The family would like to thank a very special lady, Judy for the love and care she gave Elmore every day. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 12 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior.
