RANDOLPH COUNTY — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a fatal crash that happened in Randolph County, Alabama, on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019.
Investigators said around 4 p.m., a 2002 Lexus 200 wrecked at the intersection of Old Highway 431 and County Road 134. Troopers said the car was traveling on County Road 134 when the driver failed to stop at the intersection. The car crossed Old Highway 431 and hit a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Randolph County Coroner. A female passenger and a child were flown to UAB Hospital by Life Saver.
The accident is under investigation by ALEA Troopers.
