TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department recovered a stolen vehicle and they arrested the man driving the vehicle.
Zackary Durante Danner, 22, of Birmingham, is charged with receiving stolen property in the first degree and possession of marijuana second degree.
Detective Ben Short, with the Trussville Police Department, said the stolen vehicle was spotted on Chalkville Mountain Road on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019. Officers stopped the vehicle in the 6600 block of Roper Road and took the suspect into custody.

The silver Honda sedan had been reported stolen out of Birmingham on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019. The vehicle was recovered at the time of Danner’s arrest.
Danner was taken to the Jefferson County Jail, where he was released on bonds totaling $7,800.
