BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham teen was killed and two other people were injured in a crash on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019.
Christopher Bakari Moore, 18, was killed when the Chevrolet Impala, in which he was a passenger, crashed near the intersection of Lakeshore Parkway and West Oxmoor Road. The crash happened at 10:46 p.m.
Moore was in the back-seat of the vehicle. According to Jefferson County Coroner Bill Yates, the vehicle lost control, went into the median, hit several trees and flipped several times. The vehicle came to a rest on its roof.
The driver and the front-seat passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment. There is no word on their condition.
