CENTER POINT – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened on Monday, July 29, 2019.
Deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of 20th Court NE, in unincorporated Jefferson County, at 8:21 p.m. Upon arrival, the deputies found a man, on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The suspect was identified, but his name is not being released and he was not taken into custody.
