GADSDEN — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a fatal crash that happened four miles northeast of Gadsden on Friday, July 19, 2019.
According to ALEA, Kala Camper Toney, 49, of Rainbow City, was killed when the 2004 Toyota Tundra she was riding in left the roadway and overturned. Toney was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to Troopers. The driver was hurt and was taken to an area hospital.
The crash occurred on Tidmore Bend Road at 4 p.m.
