BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner said a man involved in a serious traffic crash in Birmingham in June has died.
Reginald Jackson, 58, of Birmingham, died on July 8, after being hospitalized for nearly three weeks.
The crash happened on Tuesday, June 18, at 4:10 p.m., at the intersection of Fifth Avenue North and 11th Street North. Jackson was taken to UAB Hospital by Birmingham Fire and Rescue. Coroner Bill Yates said Jackson had been involved in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating.
