TRUSSVILLE — Fancy will not let you down on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She will be at the Trussville Civic Center for a performance and an after-party.
Tara Kay, also known as Reba, has been entertaining crowds with her show-stopping performances since 2004. Kay got into the business after friends suggested she join her husband, who is an Elvis impersonator, at a Children’s Miracle Network “Legends Show.”
Kay is no lip-synch artist. She is the real deal. She does all the singing herself.
When asked what her favorite Reba McEntire song was, she said it changes.
“Every time that Reba gets a new album out and every time I listen to an old album, it changes,” said Kay. “I will click into another song, so my favorites change. Right now, I really like ‘Pink Guitar.”
Kay said her performances offer locals the chance to enjoy one of country’s favorites.
“Reba doesn’t really tour in our area anymore, so it’s a chance for people of all ages from six-years-old to the young-at-heart to come enjoy her songs,” said Kay.
When it comes to performing in front of a live crowd, Kay said she hopes her fans enjoy it as much as she does.
“I really enjoy doing it and it’s just a fun way to express myself,” she said. “I get a lot of enjoyment out of it and I hope my fans get the same.”
The June 30th event is a family-friendly concert. The BRANDED Band will have an initial performance, then Kay will join them on stage for her set. There will also be a birthday party for Kay after the show. Anyone can stay and have cake.
General admission is $15 and reserved seats are $20. Call (518) 307-9691 or (205) 266-3030 for tickets.
