TRUSSVILLE — Detectives from the Trussville Police Department are on the scene of a shooting on Vanessa Drive.
Police said no one was hurt in the drive-by shooting, but someone did shoot into a house. Police have the people believed to be responsible for the shooting in custody, although no one has been arrested as this is an ongoing investigation.
Police said there is no current threat to the public, although they do ask that people in the area use caution while they investigate.
The people believed to be connected to the shooting were taken into custody on Highway 11 and there is heavy police activity in the area, as well as traffic issues developing.
