PINSON — Pinson Valley varsity softball logged another win besting Clay-Chalkville by a score of 10-0 on Tuesday.
Hope Cole had the mound for the Indians and gave up zero runs to the Cougars. Cole gave up one hit over five innings. She struck out eight. She walked zero.
Jordan Walker provided a stellar offense for the Indians at Tuesday’s game. Cole was 3 for 3 at the plate and managed to drive in four runs. She had a homer in the third and a double in the fourth inning.
Shauna Clevenger also brought it for the Indians, driving in two runs by doubling on a 1-0 count in the bottom of the first.
The Indians boasted 14 hits for the game. Cole, Walker, Kylie Hicks and Clevenger delivered multiple hits. Leading the hitting count for the Indians was Walker and Cole. They each had three hits for Pinson Valley.
