CHALKVILLE – Clay-Chalkville will be hosting a special “Strikeout Cancer” day on Saturday at Clay-Chalkville’s park.
The middle school, junior varsity and varsity baseball teams will play Moody starting at 10 a.m. with the middle school teams facing off against each other. The junior varsity game will be at 12 p.m. and the varsity game will start at 3 p.m.
“We have a student at the middle school who is currently battling cancer who we will be taking donations up for throughout the day,” said Head Coach Chris Tinsley. “He will be out to throw out the first pitch before the 10 a.m. middle school game, along with Mr. Wilson, the principal at CCMS.”
