BIRMINGHAM — A Saturday shooting in Birmingham has left one man dead. It was the 10th homicide of 2019 in the city.
The shooting occurred in the 6100 block of Grove Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. Police have not taken anyone into custody at this time, according to Carol Robinson.
The victim was found in a ditch next to a parked motorcycle. Robinson reported that residents in the area heard five to 10 shots and dropped to the floor as bullets were flying.
