TRUSSVILLE — UPDATE: Edwards Lake Road has been sanded and reopened after an earlier ice closure.
Edwards Lake Road southbound was closed Friday morning due to ice.
According to Kerry Niven of WBRC, Edwards Lake Road southbound was closed from Edwards Lake Parkway in Trussville to Medical Park Drive due to hazardous driving conditions.
