JEFFERSON COUNTY — WBRC reported that the impact of a strong cold front may result in clouds and fog and scattered showers on Sunday night.
Temperatures should rise to the low-to-mid-70s on New Year’s Eve, with the possibility of heavy ran and thunderstorms hitting the western counties by 1 p.m. and heading east, according to WBRC.
WBRC also reported that one or two severe storms could take place, especially to the northwest. There is a concern about flooding and wind gusts, but WBRC reported that the risk is minimal for areas, but slightly higher for the northwest counties.
